Wilderness at its best

  • At the north end of the county
  • where The Long Trail winds
  • round the Green Mountains
  • this town which sits at
  • 1323 feet above sea level.
  • There’s a sense of peacefulness
  • when looking at Vermont’s ruralness.
  • Lake Eden’s clear, blue, cool waters
  • offer those more than
  • just a stop on route 100.
  • There’s fishing, swimming
  • or trails for day hikes. And,
  • places to observe Vermont’s
  • quiet nature in this small
  • but mighty state.
